I've forgotten it. There is legend attached known as the Legend of the Devourer...but I don't like that name.

People sayin' the ocean takes the memories . . . but maybe that ain't the case? Ocean's gettin' a bad rap?

I don't know how all of the memory things work, but I feel like it's likely a lot more complex than what is assumed.
